Immerse yourself in the magical experience of our unique Winter Express, which awaits you in the museum's central hall. A reservation is not required. Tickets are available from the Garden Train ticket office. Enjoy a relaxing journey.

In the techLAB, our maker*space, you can implement small projects independently at your own pace using technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters or cutting plotters. Our competent explainers will help you learn how to handle the equipment and acquire the necessary digital skills. Whether using wood, fabric, cardboard or microcontrollers, you can create things based on your very own ideas!
No reservation required: The techLAB is open as part of a museum visit.

Iteractive exhibition for children aged 1.5–5 years
Under the motto "Explore, discover and move", the new interactive exhibition gives little explorers plenty of space for movement and playful experiences. The minTi is designed for families and children aged 1.5 to 5 years who want to explore the museum in an age-appropriate way.

The miniXplore puts a focus on playful exploration – without giving instructions and without “right” or “wrong”, enabling children and accompanying adults to venture on STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) without fear of failure while having a lot of fun and excitement.
High-voltage demonstration

This stunning show whisks you away to the world of electrical charges and currents! We generate current with extremely high voltage to conduct astonishing experiments: Light bulbs are glowing without using a power cable and metre-long bolts of lightning are flashing freely across our safety cage. In addition, we explain why hair often stands on end when children go down a slide, what the so-called “war of the currents” was all about, and many other interesting facts about electricity.
