The “Collections” department represents the great variety of objects collected and scientifically processed at the Technisches Museum Wien (Vienna Museum of Science and Technology). The classification into individual collection areas has evolved over time; the boundaries between them are sometimes fluid, especially in the case of objects with strong contemporary relevance.
