Energy

Power – from muscle power to power plant

Whether at home in the children’s room, on the way to school or at work – electricity supplies us with energy everywhere. But where did all that energy come from when there was no electricity yet?

Guide
We take a trip back in time from the energy sources used in the Middle Ages to the present day. How did people enhance their muscle power in the past? How long have we used renewable energy sources? Why was the steam engine part of a revolution? And how will electricity be generated in the future?

We seek answers to all these questions in the guided tour. And, what’s more, we also set plenty of things in motion: From steam locomotives and power generators to speedy bicycle rides – there will be something to enjoy for the whole family!
