Energiewende at UNIQA – Climate Neutral by 2040
As an insurance provider for 15 million people across 18 European countries, we are aware of our responsibility. UNIQA is committed to the 1.5-degree target of the Paris Climate Agreement. In the fall of 2020, we introduced UNIQA 3.0 "Seeding The Future," the new future program of UNIQA. Since then, we have begun aligning ourselves with the goals outlined in it and have dedicated ourselves to a binding climate policy across all areas of our company. Our goal: to be climate neutral in Austria by 2040 and in the CEE countries by 2050. Our journey towards climate neutrality is not undertaken alone; we are members of significant national and international initiatives.
