If the discount was used without authorization at the time of purchase, the ticket (whether an admission, event ticket, or annual pass) will be invalid. However, you may pay the difference to the full ticket price. Otherwise, you will be denied access to the museum, or you may be asked to leave. In such cases, no refunds, even partial ones, will be made.

• Within Austria: EUR 5.80
• Within Europe: EUR 14.-
• Outside Europe: EUR 24.-

For tickets for admissions, guided tours, annual passes, and Bundesmuseen Cards, the right of withdrawal or exchange is excluded under the provisions of the Distance Selling Act (§ 18(1)(10) FAGG).

If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including shipping costs (except for additional costs arising from selecting a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option offered by us) without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same payment method for the refund as was used in the original transaction.

We reserve the right to delay the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier. You are obligated to return the goods without delay and no later than fourteen days from the date you informed us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The goods must be returned unused and undamaged.
 

Purchasing an annual pass for the Technisches Museum Wien grants the holder free access to the permanent collection for one year during regular opening hours, excluding guided tours and educational programs.

The annual pass is non-transferable.

The Technisches Museum Wien reserves the right to revoke the pass in case of misuse or violation of the house rules.

No replacement will be issued for a lost card. In case of loss, please report it to museumsbox@tmw.at or directly at the ticket counters of the Technisches Museum Wien.

Please note that a photo is required for issuing the annual pass.

The payment receipt alone does not constitute an annual pass.

Purchasing a Bundesmuseen Card grants the holder free access to the federal museums listed and their respective locations for one year from the date of purchase during regular opening hours, excluding guided tours and educational programs.

The Bundesmuseen Card is non-transferable.

Cardholders are required to observe the house rules during their museum visits. The Technisches Museum Wien reserves the right to revoke the card in case of misuse or violation of the house rules.

No replacement will be issued for a lost card.

Vouchers for annual passes and the Bundesmuseen Card purchased on the website of the Technisches Museum Wien are valid for one year from the date of issue. Value vouchers are valid for 30 years from the date of issue in accordance with § 1478 of the Austrian Civil Code (ABGB). Cash redemption of voucher values is excluded.
