The departure was at 7:00 AM to reach the rocket launch at the CanSat competition. The bus took the Mission Control team on a three-hour journey to the only annual rocket launch in Austria – a unique experience. The final event of the ESERO CanSat competition took place in Schärding, where a rocket from the TU Wien Space Team carried the students' CanSats to the necessary altitude for their missions to be performed and evaluated.

The young members of Mission Control had a special research task throughout the event: they were to document their observations and impressions via audio recordings. Interviews were also conducted, including with ESERO Austria Manager Bettina Anderl and Marianne Röchling, the President of the TU Wien Space Team.

Other attractions of the day included a rescue helicopter landing directly in front of the audience, a propeller plane, and – last but not least – a (space?) cat that did not want to miss the spectacle and enjoyed some petting from the attendees.
