During this Mission Control meeting, the foundation was laid for collaboration with two artists who bring a unique perspective to this research project.
The Prater will serve as an "on-site" research lab where members explore the connection between "the dream of living in space" and human feelings and emotions.

This "Mission Prater" isn’t about amusement park fun. Instead, it uses the Prater as a "laboratory of wishes and dreams." The Prater has always been a place where small-scale experiments took place—some of which may have later succeeded on a larger scale, while others didn’t. Mission Control delves into (their own?) dreams and desires, linking the emotional experience of the Prater with the dry facts of a museum collection. Even before humans could fly into space, the Prater offered a way to experience physical forces on the body, similar to those felt during a rocket launch.

Following a theoretical session at the museum, participants will head to the Prater for an on-site visit, where the wind will literally blow through their hair! With support and guidance from the artists, the idea is to creatively present their research findings.
